Established dentist,popularly and lovingly called ‘the smile king’ by his friend, Dr,. Sandesh Mayekar added another accolade to his cap. And to celebrate completing 27 years of being in the profession, his daughters Shivani and Saloni hosted a big brunch bash. It also happened to be the silver wedding anniversary of Sandesh and Swati, so the occasion took an even more memorable turn with guests from all walks of life turning up to add to the smiles.

Megha Kawale upped the tempo doing her thing behind the DJ console; later; we caught her chilling out with Gayatri Joshi. Former beauty queens Sayali Bhagat, Yukta Mookhey and Parvati Omanakuttan flashed their pearlies for the shutterbugs; Poonam Dhillon and her brother-in-law Dr. Hrishikesh Pai caught up with Dr. Nandita Palshetkar; Aamir Ali and Sanjeeda Shaikh made their presence felt here as well; Rahul Dev dropped in for a short while before proceeding to town for the races; Bharat Dabholkar and Ananya Dutta were seen after a while, Ananya quite enjoying the copany of Kishin Mulchandani; while Aarti Surendrath and Anu Malik also dropped in to congratulate the Mayekars. Dr Mayekar’s good friend Raj Thackeray could not make it, however, his Sharmila was also part of this well-spent afternoon.
